This issue deserves a critical look and the following article discusses the issue much better than I could. I am a firm believer in critical thought and personally find the dumbing down of our children a major threat to society. The unrelenting onslaught by the religious right on the scientific education of our kids is not random, is not harmless and is NOT acceptable. Believe or not believe. It's your choice. But please please have the moral fortitude that the religious keep claiming they have and at least TRY and understand that religious beliefs are NOT science.
