Reflection

I have been wondering why it is that the people so frantic to save Terri at all costs continually either refused to believe the facts in the case, refused to do any of their own research about the facts, outright lied and believed everything that they were told by the fundie wackos that kept flocking to the Hospice like moths to a flame.

I have decided that the same people who are capable in believing in a god based merely on *faith* are the same sort of people who will believe anything they are told by people they mistakenly believe to be authorities on life the universe and everything.

I found it absolutely surreal to see pundits like Joe Scarborough arguing with Doctors about their field of expertise as if he knew more medical facts than the doctor ..... the doctor who actually EXAMINED Terri for over 40 minutes. Joe has made errors in the facts over and over and over on his show ... errors which are repeated by minions such as I described above. Errors in which he was corrected repeatedly by the more fact based guests on the show. Yet even when faced with absolute facts he continued to claim HIS versin of the facts was correct, and he continued to chant his lies to better ingrain them in the minds of his followers. I say lies at this point because when a mistruth is pointed out to you and you know it is untrue, yet you continue to state the untruth as fact .. you have become a liar.

Facts are not partisan. Joe is not entitled to his own facts. Facts are FACTS. If they are true there is no dispute. Joe is a liar. The crazies outside the hospice are certifiable. Terri is dead and has been for 15 years. Michael is a devoted husband and I am sick of all the people who say otherwise ... because why? because they think so .. irregardless of any truth ... they just know somehow .... there god must tell them or something .... god .... it disgusts me and I will oppose them as long as there is breath in my body.

End rant ... blood pressure is now somewhat lower.
