If my country were to become a northern version of the US (no offense guys) I don't know how I would handle it. I truly don't.
The thought that this is even a remote possibility makes me understand a little of what the democrats are going thru right now and until this moment I don't think I really understood what it's really like for you guys. Oh I knew on an intellectual level but now I can feel it in my gut. I don't know why it took me so long ..... *pondering*

PS; The same sex marriage ammendment comes up for a vote on Tuesday and while it doesn't affect me personally I will be watching the outcome very very carefully. I believe this one vote signifies whether my country will continue to be a country where ALL are welcome and justice and equality prevail or a country where bigotry, prejudice and intolerance rules the day.
