Well it appears that the Grewal Tapes may have been altered. Experts say Grewal tapes were altered Fancy that. Doesn't surprise me actually and it doesn't look to good for ol' Stevie Harper.
Seems to me there were similar nefarious offences perpetrated against Hillary Clinton way back when ... don't believe me? Do a google. My guess is someone in the conservative party was taking notes or else they got their hands on the little black Republican Dirty Play Book. I guess they skipped the part that suggested that when doing a splice on an audio tape you really really need to be careful to cover your tracks and at least TRY and make your splice invisible.
This smells dirty for Harper and he is definitely on the defensive. If he plans on running his next campaign trying to paint the Liberals as some sort of corrupt party with links to devil worshipers he's gonna have a little explaining to do himself regarding this possible sloppy scandal/frame attempt.
