Well it appears that our government seems to like the idea of making sterile seeds and releasing them into the environment. This sort of genie can't be put back in the bottle if it gets out of hand and as far as I can see the only reason to support the use of such technology is to benefit companies like Monsanto. This is bad folks ... real bad. I am stunned that Canadian Government is actually pushing for this.

If you want to do something about it read this Greenpeace article. In the past I have had issues with some of the causes greenpeace championed ... the seal hunt comes to mind but most of their causes are just. If you agree scroll to the bottom of the article and DO something. I did.
