Where are the good christians?

Some here may get the impression that I am anti everything christian, but I'm not. If you live your faith and allow others to live theirs, I have nothing but respect for you. If however you cross the line and start to think it's ok to impose your faith on others then I am afraid, you are the type of christian I pretty much despise.

The good news is that, in Canada anyway, most Christians I have met, have been in the former category. In fact a LOT of the church going Christians I have talked to when in a discussion about faith are pretty much vague about their actual belief in god and imo tend to be more spiritual than actually literal believers. Which brings me to the reason for this post.

A couple of days ago I spoke briefly about how atheists in general have not been unified, speaking with one voice, and about how that may be changing. There are certainly positive signs pointing to that belief anyway.

Well I just read a nice article with a similar opinion, only this time about christians. Not the rabid, spit in your face christians, but the people who genuinely and sanely practice their faith without all the crap that routinely gets me into a snit. So here is an article written, I suppose by someone of faith who I would list in my "sane christian category". They are out there .... they just need to find their voice.

The fanatics and nutjobs now running the show sure give honest believers a bad name
